DUE TO EU REGULATIONS THIS POST HAS BEEN REMOVED.

We received a complaint from Essex County Council, that our post did not match Article 7 of EC Regulation 1169/2011 in relation to misleading statements about hayfever and honey. We have never suggested that our honey ‘cures’ or treats hayfever. We have no evidence to suggest this is even possible and have never told anyone that we claim that it does.

We are now taking bookings for our 2024 Bee Hive experiences! Due to popular demand of previous years we now have four dates available!

Why not book yourself onto a visit to a beehive with our Head Beekeeper

Explore the fascinating world of honeybees with our Beekeeping taster mornings near Great Leighs. Led by an experienced beekeeper, these hands-on sessions will teach you the basics of managing a hive, harvesting honey, and keeping your bees healthy. Along the way, you'll also sample the delicious flavours of local honey, eat honey cake and learn about the important role that bees play in our ecosystem. You'll even get to wear our Beekeeping suits and visit a real hive of working bees in our apiary. If you are curious about these amazing insects, our taster mornings are the perfect way to discover the joy of beekeeping. Book now and discover the sweet rewards of working with bees!

The experience day for 2025 will start at 10am at our home apiary (location will be released nearer the time) and costs £65

To book your place requires a deposit (non refundable-unless cancelled due to weather) of only £20. The remaining additional balance of £35 is payable 4 weeks before the date of the experience.

A refund will only be given in the event of coronavirus nationwide lockdown or inclement weather. No other refunds are accepted.
